We need your help supporting 2235 Third Street! The planning process has been delayed too long and has put the project in jeopardy. We need you to urge Supervisor Maxwell to follow the community’s lead and sponsor the Central Waterfront Plan Demonstration District re-zoning required to make this project possible.
The 2235 Third Street project is a model for neighborhood-sensitive development, and with your support could set a high standard for future development in the area. The project was redesigned to preserve 50’-heights along Third Street, and provide on-site subsidized day care space, a neighborhood-serving grocery store, a neighborhood restaurant, twice the Code-required on-site open space, and seed money to help launch the GreenTrust, a community-based non-profit that will guide future greening efforts in the Draft Central Waterfront Plan area.
Your support makes all the difference!

Send a letter to Supervisor Maxwell to let her know you support 2235
Third Street, and urge her to sponsor legislation
for a Central Waterfront Plan Demonstration
District. If you would like to send a form
letter, please download our Word document. You can email, mail or
fax it to the contact info on the letter.

Join other community members and sign a petition to let Supervisor
Maxwell, the Planning Commission and the
Planning Department know that 2235 Third
Street needs to move forward and get approved.
Fill out the form on the right to have your
name added to the petition.

One of the most important ways you can show your support is to attend
a Planning Commission hearing and Board of
Supervisors hearing. Having local community
members attend such hearings sends a clear
message to the decision makers that the community
wants this project. If you are interested
in attending a hearing or learning more,
fill out the form on the right and we will
contact you with additional information.
